The short version: Be warm, be yourself, and look out for each other. Clarksville Furs is built on kindness — these guidelines exist to keep it that way.

1. Who these guidelines apply to

These guidelines apply to everyone who participates in Clarksville Furs community spaces — including this website, our Discord server, Telegram channel, Facebook page, and in-person events. By participating, you agree to follow them.

2. The basics

Every member of our community is expected to:

  • Treat everyone with respect, regardless of age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, fandom experience level, or any other characteristic.
  • Be welcoming to newcomers. Everyone was new once.
  • Respect personal boundaries — online and in person.
  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Keep shared spaces safe and appropriate for members of all ages unless a space or event is specifically designated otherwise.

3. What we don’t allow

The following are not welcome in any Clarksville Furs space:

  • Harassment or bullying — including repeated unwanted contact, targeted mockery, or intimidation of any kind.
  • Hate speech or discrimination — content that demeans or attacks individuals or groups based on identity.
  • Sexual content in general spaces — keep adult content out of any channel or event not specifically designated for it.
  • Spam or self-promotion — unsolicited advertising, mass messaging, or repetitive posting that disrupts the community.
  • Sharing others’ private information — including real names, addresses, photos, or other personal details without consent.
  • Impersonation — pretending to be another member, organizer, or public figure.
  • Illegal activity — anything that violates applicable law.

4. Events

All in-person events are governed by these guidelines. Attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow members, venue staff, and the public. Photography and video may occur at events — if you do not wish to be photographed, let an organizer know and we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request.

5. Reporting concerns

If you witness or experience behavior that violates these guidelines, please reach out to a community organizer directly on Discord or by email. Reports are taken seriously. You will not be penalized for making a good-faith report.

6. Enforcement

Organizers may take action based on the nature and severity of a violation, including:

  • A warning
  • Temporary removal from community spaces
  • Permanent removal from community spaces and events

Decisions are made at organizer discretion. We will always aim to be fair, consistent, and focused on keeping the community safe and welcoming for everyone.

7. Changes to these guidelines

We may update these guidelines from time to time. Continued participation in our community spaces constitutes acceptance of the current guidelines.
